She has always been an animal lover and always knew that one day she would dedicate her life to being the voice of the voiceless.

Debbie worked in the Beauty business for 35 years, empowering women and making them feel better about themselves.

In 2019, she found herself in the position to finally follow her dreams and get involved in animal rescue. As a member of the leadership team and Rescue Manager at FLUFF Animal Rescue, she was able to work diligently at saving lives. She worked alongside the staff to ensure proper care and treatment of the animals as well as establishing critical operational protocols.

When the time came to move on , Debbie joined the team at Bluffs Animal Hospital, where she is currently employed. And she is still in her element, helping animals and learning new ways to ensure their health and safety every day.

Debbie lives by her motto:  'Be the change you want to see in the world'

Crystal has dedicated her life to empowering women from diverse backgrounds to lead healthy lives, build strong relationships, and reach their fullest potential. Her journey from being a nutritionist to a social worker, and eventually a technology executive, has provided her with a broad skill set to identify fundamental barriers and inspire women to make transformative changes.

Always being an avid lover of animals, Crystal began to dedicate her spare time to volunteering in animal rescue. Her heart became full as this is where she found a place in helping domestic animals that have been abandoned, abused or simply found themselves without a home. From cuddling puppies to medicating cats to helping oversee rescue operations, Crystal learned that rescue has a special place in her heart.

Her passion for helping women and animals now both perfectly align with the mission of Protecting Paws For Life, ensuring families can stay together with their pets in safe, supportive environments.

Crystal resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, with her husband. She is a fitness enthusiast and loves exploring all things outdoors.

Jenn has been involved in rescue for over ten years, starting with fostering/adopting, and moving up to being the president and medical director for several years, during her rescue time she filled all shoes of rescue in between. She fell in love with every foster she had come through her home (and there were many), but the ones most abused and the hospice ones grabbed her heart the most.

Jenn spent 8 years in the US Navy, and in her downtime was able to secure an advanced education in both Business and Accounting. She currently is employed with HCA Hospital systems in their accounting department. She also provides bookkeeping support part time for Chicken Salad Chick and Protecting Paws for Life. When she went back to work full time, she had to step down from running her rescue, but she still volunteers with them, helping with administrative duties, auctions, and running their forever foster website. She has a love for numbers and loves to stay busy so anything she can do with her services to help animals, She’s in!

Her heart in rescue always broke for those that came in broken, whether abused or medical needs. Her dream is to someday have a sanctuary for behavior and hospice animals who generally do not get adopted and who need a permanent place to find comfort, a place they can call home.

A lifelong animal lover, Catherine has rescued five dogs and a cat, and she continues to care for and support a colony of approximately ten feral cats.

After the loss of one of her beloved dogs, she volunteered with a local animal rescue for two years—an experience that further solidified her desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of animals. Today, she remains actively involved in efforts that support and protect animal welfare.
